It is that time again when I do my once a month cooking. But as I was talking to my husband, I realized that this is really my “once every 3 months cooking”. So, for roughly $200 I am able to fix my main dishes for meals for 3 months!

I am also making sandwiches for my daughter for school. I will use about 4 loaves of bread to go ahead and make some turkey and cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches for her. The cost for those supplies are also in the total cost listed above.

I have included links for all the recipes I made this time around. If this is your first time doing freezer meals, make sure you check out my original post HERE.

This month, I made the following:

Healthy Applesauce Oat Muffins
**Gotta have some quick and easy things to grab for breakfast. I’m going to start playing around with some other recipes to try and help make our mornings go a little smoother.**

Cheesy Broccoli-Chicken-Rice (x4)
**This recipe makes 4**

**Few helpful hints for this recipe to help make it faster and easier:

  • Cook the chicken in the pressure cooker
  • Use the kitchenaid mixer with the paddle attachment to just shred the chicken (it it so much easier that way)
  • Cook the rice in the pressure cooker
