Currently my husband works a crazy job with weird and changing hours. I work a full time job as well as do some work on the side for one of my favorite non-profits. We just recently moved into the Fixer Upper that is somewhat fixed. We have a seven year old and 2 three year old children that live in our home, as well as 2 dogs.
Life is crazy.
Life is exhausting.
But this our season…..
And I don’t want to miss this.
I don’t know where you are right now or what season you are in. Maybe you are a tired mama just trying to get through the day. Maybe you are single woman trying to figure out what the plan is for your life. Maybe you are a woman longing for a family. Maybe you are inundated with work. Maybe you have long days at home with the kids.
Wherever you are….know that this isn’t where you will always be.
So let’s stop focusing so much on the future or the next season and focus on the NOW.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
“For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stone.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.”
Friends, I am praying for you in whatever season you are in! Let’s join together to encourage one another. You might be in a season that you LOVE….encourage someone. You might be in a season that is draining….encourage someone. Also, know that there are people around you that have been through that season and survived! Reach out! Don’t do this season alone!
As for me….I will try my hardest to be thankful for this season!
Amen ! Loved reading . Just read this morning- proverbs 31 :25
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”.
