I do not cook every night of the week. Why? Because I do not have time to do that! So what do I do? I “cook” once a week and prepare all of the meals in one day.

I will first look at my monthly meal prep sheet to see what I am supposed to be having this week.

At this point, if I am just not feeling what I put on there weeks again, I make adjustments! Especially if my kids have been asking for some special, I can make that happen (but only if I have already prepared that meal). I then make my weekly meal planning sheet for that week.

I say “cook” because I simply take a meal out of the freezer and place it in the oven.
(see monthly meal prep HERE)
I will then fix some vegetables and other sides. This usually takes a grand total of 1 hour mainly because my dishes usually take 45-55 minutes to cook.

After the meals are cooked, I go ahead and divide everything out into their “plates” for the week.
I have used a variety of different options but right now, we are loving the tubberware containers best.

I have found that using these round ones work best for our family when we are fixing for more adults or bigger kids. They have a place on top where you can vent the lid so you can stick the entire thing in the microwave. Super easy! And they are dishwasher safe too! You can find them HERE.

They also stack so easily!

These tupperware containers are great too! These are great when I am just fixing dinner for the little ones. I also like to use these muffin tins to help keep food separated and it gives a pop of color!

And then all I have to do is take it out of the fridge and heat it up in the microwave each night. Clean up is a breeze because everything goes straight into my dishwasher!!!
